I love animals! I can't imagine my life without them. I've rescued, fostered, and adopted more furry friends than I can count. After more than three decades working as an artist, nothing makes me happier than getting the opportunity to capture beloved companions in a drawing. How can I not smile looking at those sweet little faces?
I BELIEVE that the animals we share our lives with are here to guide us and help us navigate life. they warm our hearts and our homes, and teach us to enjoy even the smallest ray of sunshine every single day.
To best capture fur, feathers and little wet noses, I work in chalk or charcoal using your favorite photos of your furry friend.
Some people request black and white only, others want full color drawings. I work to customize your drawing to meet your needs, and can offer suggestions for the best approach when I see your photos too.
I work from photos you provide so quality matters. I’ve put together some tips for getting the best pictures here.

Drawings are on high quality, acid-free paper in charcoal, chalk, or sometimes a combination depending on the subject. They are shipped flat, unframed and unmatted. I try to work in a format that will fit a standard mat and frame size.
Art will be of a single pet face (not full-body). Measurements are for the art image on the paper. If you choose to mat the art, the image size will be the inside measurement of your mat.
Prices could vary slightly depending on the complexity of the art:
8" x 10" image size ..................starting at $125
11" x 14" image size ..................starting at $175
Please reach out with questions or to discuss special requests.

Interested in your very own portrait or a gift for someone special?
Robin captured the essence of our 4 very different dogs, all in one portrait. It was an anniversary gift from my husband, it is literally my most prized possession! It was so special to us, that we had an additional portrait of our beautiful cat commissioned for our daughter. They are both such treasured pieces - Robin is exceptionally gifted, and we are so grateful for her talent!
